Hello, sweet souls. Welcome to Minding My Manifestation, where I take you along with me on my manifestation and spiritual journey while also helping to guide you through yours. If you're ready to create new habits, discover deeper truths, expand your mind, and become the best version of yourself one day at a time, then this podcast is for you. Each week, I'll discuss my inner standing of the world around us, manifestation, and how you can shift your current patterns of thinking and being to align more deeply with your soul's purpose. Think of this podcast as your weekly dose of how you can change the world around you by changing the world within you. So grateful you're here. Let's get into it. Hello, sweet souls, and welcome back. So today's episode, we are going to be discussing creating structure with what you already have and what you already know. Now, if you haven't listened to my last couple episodes, please go back and do so because I promise you everything kind of goes together and this episode would just make that much more sense. How many times have we told ourselves that I'll start on Monday? I'll start when life comes down, I'll start once I move, I'll start once I make more money, I'll start once I know what I'm gonna do next, right? I'll start when. But what if the thing that keeps us stuck isn't the lack of certainty? It's a lack of structure around what you already know and what you already have. Now, I know firsthand about the illusion of needing more. Okay. I have been someone who has told myself, like, oh, before I start going to the gym, I need more gym clothes. And before I start showing up on social media, I need the little microphone, or I need the little flashlight, or the lighting thing in the tripod. I need more confidence, I need to know more things, I need to read more, more, more, more. Okay. So that is the illusion of needing more. You tell yourself you need more time, more motivation, all the things. But usually, and nine times out of ten, and I'm saying this especially from myself, we already know the next step. We already have the tools, we already know it right now. But the thing is, is that we don't know the next 20 things to do. We don't have the next 20 steps. And that's what scares us. And the reason that is, is because our brains crave certainty. It craves familiarity, which is why the unknown feels so uncomfortable. It feels so uncomfortable. Now, when you're creating the structure, and let me just be clear really quick structure isn't having every hour of the day plan. It's not perfect routines, it's not strict time schedules. Unless you're into that sort of thing, then go for it. But I just know for me in the current stage of life I'm in right now, that just would not work out for me. But more so, structure is simply just giving yourself and your current realities somewhere to land, right? Instead of worrying about, like, hey, I don't know where I'm gonna be in the next six months or in the next year. You don't need to know that. You just need to know what you're doing tomorrow, right? Like give yourself these small little routines, these small little certainties, because these small certainties, they create emotional safety. So again, instead of saying, you know, I don't know where I'm gonna be in six months, just say tomorrow, around eight to 10, I'm going to the gym, right? Do what you can with what you already have and what you already know. If you haven't already, you should also look into neuroscience. And so when I'm talking about neuroscience, I'm simply talking about your brain specifically loving predictability. Your nervous system loves patterns, it loves knowing like the next thing. And when you create these tiny little routines, it tells the brain, I am safe. And not in the way where like you figured everything out and you know everything, right? But because you are telling your brain that you are someone who is able to handle uncertainty. And somehow in our brain, we kind of overestimate the future, right? Like we kind of imagine that one day we'll suddenly know everything. But the truth is that every reality, every version of ourselves has unknowns, even successful people, even healed people, right? Even confident people, they're all still dealing with the same things. The difference is that they know how to handle it. They know how to build inside of uncertainty, inside of discomfort. They learn to let it be a tool for them instead of something that shrinks them. Now, building structure around what you already know is key. Like it is key, especially in the uncertainty, okay? Because when I was worried about housing and what are the next steps and what am I gonna do, the only thing that I could handle was what I had in front of me, right? And obviously, in the moment I wasn't doing a great job. I'm just being very transparent. I was letting the outside factors like really bother me. But once it became so overwhelming, I was like, wait a minute, I know how to handle this and I have the tools and I remember what to do. And so now the only thing keeping me from doing what I want to do is me. And so let's let's go ahead and like change that. So circling back to building around what you already know. Instead of asking yourself, what if this doesn't work out? instead ask yourself, like, what do I know today, right now? Maybe you just start with something simple, right? The time that you work out or your bedtime, your values, what kind of parent are you trying to be? What kind of person are you trying to be? Maybe you start with what are you eating for dinner today? Just one goal. That's enough, right? And the more that you sort of structure your day around this thinking, right? Like, okay, I'll go to the gym at this time or this is what we're having for dinner, the easier and the more familiar it becomes to your brain, and the safer it feels in your body. When we are in these sort of like waiting moments and these waiting periods, it creates anxiety. And sometimes anxiety isn't because life is uncertain, it's because we're given uncertainty literally all of our attention, right? We're so uncertain of everything. So it creates this anxious feeling inside of our body because we don't know what's next. It's not familiar, it's uncomfortable. But when we create structure, when we create a routine for ourselves, this then shifts the attention back to taking action. And honestly, the way that I like look back on the last few months and just think about the time that I had, it was not so fun. It wasn't great, right? I felt like a hermit crab. I just wanted to hide. But even with that, even with looking back on it, something just clicked within me. And I kind of realized, like, hey, I can't know every single thing. I can't organize my future like perfectly. But what I can control and what I can't organize right now is today. I can create structure around today, right now, in the present moment. And once I did that, that created a more established routine in my head. And it feels good to kind of know and have that certainty again because our brain loves familiarity, but most importantly, like it calms your nervous system down and it allows you to have mental clarity and take action instead of making, you know, all the reasons why you can't do something keep you where you are and keep you uncomfortable. So this is about creating structure within the uncomfortability. Not that we're never gonna feel uncomfortable, it's just that whenever you do, whenever you start to, you know that you can create structure with what you know. Did that make sense? So some of my go-tos around creating structure for myself that I've done is knowing the time that I'm going to wake up. Waking up at around 5:30, sometimes five, just to really sit with myself and be with myself and just kind of have my mind wake up while it's still in, you know, quiet and silence. And during that time, I mean, there's a couple things I do, but I just I'm really just sitting with myself, truly. I just meditate in silence sometimes. That's what my brain needs. Sometimes it's a visualization, other times I stretch and meditate. Really, it's just creating some sort of like routine and habit for me to do that feels good to me and that I know that I can do. Another one is moving my body. I feel good when I look good. I feel my best when I look good. And so just the type of person I am that's just important to me. And so moving my body, it really also helps to release negative energy or any just negative thoughts and feelings that I'm having at that moment. And it just works every time. So as I'm creating structure right now with you know, still unknowns, like I'm not really in the clear, but every day matters and the effort that you put in today, it's going to show like it will count for something. And I want to remind you that even when you can't see change, even when you don't see change, know that things are changing inside of you. And that makes a world of difference. And honestly, looking back on all of this, it's just so amazing, you know, that we have the tools within ourselves and we really have all that it takes to change our lives and just decide. We just decide and we get to choose that we want more, we want safety. Even with all the unknowns and all the discomfort that is in our lives, when you tell yourself and you decide that you are someone who can trust themselves enough to create stability when life unfolds, you are literally so powerful. Your mindset, man, like what a gift. But alongside that, you definitely need to take the action. And that's the difference here is that I knew what I knew, I wasn't taking the action, but I knew I needed something. And just knowing now that I can create that structure and give myself that stability and that safety in my body, like it's a game changer. So I want you to remember this podcast if life ever feels uncomfortable, uncertain, and you're looking to create some sort of structure and stability within your life. I want you to ask yourself these questions. Okay. Ask yourself, what do I already know? What can I stop waiting for? Where can I create one small routine? And what is one thing that I can control today? Okay, now that we know what we know, let's get to work on implementing that, okay? Thank you so much for being with me here today.
